David Croft

A combination of life, karate, cooking and disability

  • David Croft catches up again with John Cleave…

Having seen the Fisherman’s Friends do one of their sea shanty sessions at the Hall for Cornwall along with the folk group Show of Hands this had David Croft instantly enjoying their style of music. It therefore came as no surprise later to find out that the Fisherman's Friends had signed a record deal and would go on to even greater success. This being the superb film about the Fisherman’s Friends, which David saw at his local cinema with the audience all singing along merrily to the various songs. John Cleave also wrote a book called ‘The Pasty Man’ so John and David exchanged books with another when they met again.
