David Croft

A combination of life, karate, cooking and disability

  • David Croft gets prestigious Cornwall Tourism Award

At a ceremony held at the Headland Hotel in Newquay, one of the hotels where David Croft used to work prior to his accident David was honoured with the 'Unsung Hero' Award. The Award was in recognition of all the hard work done over the years in changing attitudes to help disabled people within the hospitality, travel and tourism industries. David can be seen in the photo below receiving his Award from a representative of South West Water. The Award was earlier mentioned by touching accolades from the compere's for the evening namely Sir Tim Rice and Daphne Skinnard of BBC Radio Cornwall. David's Award will also now be fast tracked into the South West Tourism Awards in February.
